Children Groups:
Toddlers
Our Toddler Group has been running since February 1977 and meets every Wednesday in term time from 10:00 – 11.30 am for an action-packed morning of play, crafts and singing.
The children have access to our two halls, one with toys for those on their feet and the other a protected space for babies and quieter activities (puzzles, books). We also have another room where there is something crafty to do – sticking, drawing, painting, playdoh……
We sometimes have Story Time and always finish with Singing Time.
Parents and carers are able to enjoy a cup of tea and biscuits while looking after their children. There are drinks and a biscuit for the children too.
There is a charge of £1.50 for an adult and a child and 50p for each additional adults and children (over 1). This covers your refreshments, crafts, replacing toys etc. Come and join us and use the time to catch up with friends and meet others from your neighbourhood.
If you would like more information please contact our Toddler Team by email at [email protected] or by phoning the Church Office (0115 981 0690) or visit our Toddlers Facebook page (@WBBCToddlers) to find out what is going on or just turn up no booking is required.
Adult Groups:
Place of Welcome
Join us for a cup of tea and a chat and a Warm Space in winter
Every Thursday from 10am to 11.30am.
Everyone is welcome to join us for a cup of tea and a chat. You will find a friendly face and a place that is warm.
Fellowship Groups
Fellowship groups provide a place for fellowship, informal Bible study, discussion and prayer support.
These offer the opportunity to make friends and share faith and ask questions more informally. There is also always time to have a chat.
We have three groups that meet:
- Every 2nd and 4th Friday morning at 10am in the church lounge (Warm Space)
- Every second Sunday after the morning service (11:45am to 13pm)
- On the fourth Thursday of every month from 10am in a home in Upper Saxondale
Contact the Church Office for more information.
